Coloured Pencil Sketching Project with Just Three Pencils!

Here's a sketching idea that you can start with the minimum of set up and materials.

All you need is:

• 3 primary coloured pencils (any red, any blue and any yellow)
• A sketchbook

You can swap the coloured pencils for another medium (watercolours, acrylics, pastels etc.) but the best thing about coloured pencils is they're really easy to pick up and start... no fuss getting out brushes, cleaning a palette, filling jars of water... just pick up the pencils and give them a quick sharpen.

Using just 3 colours is a great way to practice your colour mixing and blending with coloured pencils and because we're keeping this one sketchy, it won't take too long either.
