How to Draw a Portrait from Observation
Apr 09, 2024In this lesson, I'll take you through a method for drawing a portrait from observation. The first goal is to get the face well-proportioned and looking believable. From there it's just a case of small tweaks and lots of practice to get a strong likeness!
Materials You'll Need
- A few pencils (such as a HB or 2B, a 4B and 8B)
- A piece of drawing paper
- An eraser
